'This is Mother's Day for me': Celina Jaitley breaks down as Mumbai Police book husband Peter Haag on cruelty charges - WATCH

Celina Jaitley broke down on Mother’s Day, revealing that she is unable to see or speak to her three children amid her ongoing divorce battle with husband Peter Haag. Mumbai Police lodged an FIR against Haag and issued a circular after she complained of ill-treatment and harassment.

Celina Jaitley has been in the news recently due to her ongoing divorce proceedings from husband Peter Haag and the custody battle of their children. Amidst this difficult time, the actress took to social media to share a very emotional video and a heartfelt message, in which she revealed that she is currently estranged from her children.

She spoke of the immense pain of not being able to see them or even talk to them.

Celina Jaitley talks about losing her children

Celina Jaitley shared videos on Instagram and wrote: “I have no choice but to share these videos. I lost my children the day I chose to leave Austria to protect my dignity, my children and my brother. In the early hours of the morning, with the help of neighbours, I quietly escaped from the systematic oppression, isolation, emotional abuse, humiliation and fear I experienced.”

Because I filed a lawsuit in India to gain access to the only roof over my head, my home that I bought with my own money in 2004, and because I sought legal help for my brother detained in the Middle East, my children were prevented from speaking to me. Despite joint custody arrangements and living orders issued by the Austrian Family Court, I am currently deprived of contact with my three children.

She also added: “My children have been taken to an unknown location and are being brainwashed and radicalized against their mother and her belief in Hinduism by my husband and his father.

Two weeks ago, during my divorce hearings in Austria, I stood outside my home…devastated…remembering the love, dedication, sacrifices and unconditional care with which I raised my family. Despite pledges to the court, my children were not returned.

The only child I was able to hold was my late angel Shamsher.”The actress also wrote: “In early September, I received divorce papers under the pretext of receiving what I believe to be a gift for our 15th wedding anniversary.

After that, despite years of abuse, I repeatedly sought an amicable separation, prioritizing only the well-being of our children. These efforts were met with demands regarding my maiden origins, coercion, intimidation, and attempts to strip me of my freedom, dignity, and independence.

All I asked for was my children…and what I myself contributed to this marriage, my hard-earned money, my own assets, and my sacrifices.

Everything has been taken from me over 15 years of marriage. Today, I am left with a broken heart… and a place next to my late son’s grave where I cry, pray and gather strength. This…is Mother’s Day for me. But I am the daughter of Maa Mahaalithaa Ambika, Maa Kali and Maa Durga. “I am now returning to India to fight for my children, my dignity, truth and justice.”
