Amitabh Bachchan talks about work ethics and how scrolling through social media and spending more time with family and friends is a distraction

Amitabh Bachchan often shares his personal thoughts, thoughts on life and updates from his professional journey through his blog. He makes sure to never miss his blog updates because he loves to connect with his fans through it.

With a career spanning over five decades in Hindi cinema, the legendary actor often uses the platform to talk about work ethics, social media and the changing times. In his latest article, Bachchan reflected on a recent lesson he received about Steve Jobs and his philosophy of focus. Taking inspiration from the late Apple visionary, the actor wrote about the importance of distinguishing between “signal” and “noise” in life.He began the note by writing: “Read some of the most inspiring words about life and work ethics… Two words… signal and noise… signal as in focus.”Explaining the idea further, Big B added: “When you’re focused, the only thing that keeps you going is what needs to be done. Not in a few days, not tomorrow, not at any specific time…it’s DO IT NOW!!!! Noise is all the other social related pulls, spending time browsing media, spending more time with friends or even family..

These are focus distractions.. referred to as noise.. so you either decide to use focus, signal or noise.

The fruits come from Fox… amazing teaching from Steve Jobs.Last month, the veteran actor also shared his thoughts on the growing influence of social media and the rapid spread of information online. Reflecting on how technology is transforming communication and attention, he wrote: “The speed of knowledge is now at the push of a button.

It is not the “thinking button” in the brain… which has been overwhelmed by this means called “the network”… and discoveries force one to follow the latest and go beyond the previous habit.

For those who lived in the early times and now live under a strikingly different methodology, it is a fascinating story of the times. “The ‘times’ have always been an important element that can be relied upon… It brings an honorable nostalgia… Those who lived in the past understand it… The ‘present’ may not take into account… They are engaged in the ‘now’, just as we were when we were their age, facing new inventions and directions.’On the work front, Bachchan was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin.
