According to a report by Gulte, leading man Ram Charan is charging over Rs 100 crore for the film Peddi. Meanwhile, it is also suggested that Buchi Babu Sana, who is directing only his second film after the successful Uppena, will earn more than Rs 30 crore.Meanwhile, the remuneration of Janhvi Kapoor, AR Rahman and other cast members, including other technicians, collectively adds another Rs 35-40 crore to the film’s expenses.
Moreover, manufacturers also spend heavily on production quality. Since the film comes from the Sukumar school style of filmmaking, the expenditure is said to be on the higher side.

Recently, the makers shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of Mega Star Chiranjeevi visiting the ‘Peddi’ team on the sets. In the video shared by the makers, they can be seen discussing the film and watching some clips on screen. They can also be seen indulging in some fun interactions and the ‘Vishwambhara’ star can be seen asking Buchi Babu Sana to put together a particular scene.

‘Peddi’ is set to be a sports drama set in a village and largely revolves around two sports, cricket and wrestling. Besides Ram Charan, the film also stars Jhanvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkummar, Gajapathi Babu, Divyendu Sharma and Boman Irani in important roles.The makers have confirmed that ‘Peddi’ will release worldwide on June 4, 2026, while its premiere is scheduled to take place on June 3. It will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada.
