Obviously we lost some early wickets, so I just tried to take a little bit of responsibility and get a win on the board for the boys,” Allen said during the post-match presentation.
He also admitted that the pitch was difficult in the beginning and praised Axar Patel for his disciplined spell of bowling.“It was still a bit difficult in the beginning. Axar bowled the ball well and restricted us. So I just tried to get into strong positions and hit deep,” he added.
