Zoe Stein stars as a teenager vacationing in the sunny summer of Mallorca, who suddenly finds herself caring for her grief-stricken family after the death of her beloved grandmother in the trailer for Spanish director Lucia Alinar Iglesias’ debut film. forastera, It is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 29.

Stein’s character, Kata, is seen at one point in the trailer wearing a vintage dress that belonged to Catalina, her late grandmother played by Marta Angelat, and unexpectedly takes on the role of caregiver to her grieving grandfather in the film as he reflects on memory, grief, and the ghosts of our past.
