Priyanka Chopra and Orlando Bloom star in the survival thriller “Reset”; The film will begin production in August

Priyanka Chopra is on her way to success. Just one day after the release of the second season of spy thriller Citadel, the actress has landed her next film.Priyanka has reportedly been cast opposite Orlando Bloom in the upcoming survival thriller ‘Reset’, directed by Matt Smukler, according to Deadline. The film, which is scheduled to begin production in August, will also see the actress co-producing the film.

According to the report, the film, written by Jordan Rollins, follows a woman, played by Chopra, who wakes up in the middle of the wild days of civilization with no memory of how she got there, only to find that her only chance of survival is to trust a charming stranger (Bloom) — who may not be who he says he is.

Speaking about the cast, director Smukler told the portal: “I was looking for a couple where attraction and lack of confidence could coexist easily.

Priyanka and Orlando have this uncanny ability to make you believe in both at once. Their chemistry is undeniable.”

Chopra, who made her debut in Citadel season 2 on Wednesday, will also be seen in SS Rajamouli’s Varanasi. The actress will play the lead role in the film which stars Mahesh Babu in the lead role. The film, currently in production, has a few more weeks of shooting before it wraps. According to reports, the team, which is currently shooting in India, will soon head to Antarctica to shoot the next schedule on the Ross Ice Shelf, becoming one of the first few film crews to shoot on location.‘Varansi’ is scheduled to hit theaters on April 7, 2027.
