Targui was charged in the shocking Everglades shooting spree, and faces up to one year in prison

Kick streamer Clavcular, whose real name is Braden Eric Peters, is now in serious legal trouble after a viral live stream shocked viewers online. In the clip, he and others are seen on an airboat in the Florida Everglades, where they appear to fire several shots at an alligator in the water.

The video quickly spread across social media, prompting an investigation by wildlife officials. Many people were upset after watching the footage and raised concerns about safety and harm to animals. After examining the case, the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office formally filed a charge against Peters on April 29. The charge is for illegally discharging a gun in a public place. This means using a firearm in an area where it could pose a danger to people or surrounding areas.

The incident reportedly occurred in the Francis Taylor Everglades Wildlife Management Area in Miami-Dade County. Two other people, including Cuban broadcaster Tarzan, were also named in the case.

Live broadcast of alligator clavicle shooting sparks criminal charges and legal problems in Everglades case

The most serious part of this case is the allegation that Peters fired a gun in a public place during a live broadcast. According to court records, this is a Class A misdemeanor under Florida law. This type of charge can result in up to one year in prison, plus one year of probation and a fine of up to $1,000.

A $1,000 bond was also listed, and a court hearing is scheduled for May 20.

During the live broadcast, Peters and his group parked their airboat near what looked like an alligator in the water. He can be heard in the video asking if they should shoot him to check if he is alive. Then someone else started shooting, and Peters joined in as well. Afterwards, he said he thought the animal was dead. This moment became the main cause of online backlash.Peters’ attorneys responded by saying he was following the instructions of a licensed airboat guide. They also said that no people or animals were harmed during the incident. Officials from the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission had previously confirmed that they were aware of the video and were investigating it.Ultimately, the situation shows how actions during a live stream can lead to serious consequences in the real world. Many people are now hoping that content creators will be more careful and responsible in the future.
