Bad Bunny has already had a busy year, and it showed at the 2026 Met Gala.
If you blinked, you probably missed seeing the 32-year-old Grammy winner walk the carpet, because he didn’t look like his typical self. Instead, Bad Bunny has an older appearance, gray hair, eyebrows, and beard, while wearing a cane, and appears as a version of himself 50 years in the future.
The singer particularly tapped into the “aging body” theme tied to this year’s Met Gala theme. This year’s exhibition, ‘The Art of Fashion’, was curated by Andrew Bolton, promised to ‘explore the relationship between clothing and the body underneath’, and was organized into a series of thematic body types, including the naked body, the pregnant body, and the elderly body.
Mike Marino was behind the prosthetic art for Bad Bunny’s appearance, which he testified Happy Gilmore 2 An actor decorated with wrinkles and aging skin. The singer designed his own look in collaboration with Zara. He also wore a custom black shirt and a large sculpted bow, a nod to Charles James’s 1947 “Bustle” gown, which is in the Costume Institute’s permanent collection.
