Kim Zolciak is at the center of a custody battle — and once again, the court appears to be siding with her ex-husband.
According to a report from Page Six, a judge awarded primary custody of the former couple’s children to Kroy Biermann.
And yes, this will be the second time Kim Zolciak has lost primary custody amid the couple’s ongoing and very controversial divorce.
The decision comes after Berman accused Zolciak of negligence, an allegation that was central to the court’s ruling.
Berman claimed that Zolciak’s behavior raised serious concerns about the children’s safety, prompting legal action to change custody arrangements.
In court filings obtained by Page Six, Berman alleged that Zolciak was “absent from home for long periods of time” and that her actions negatively affected their children.
He also claimed that the situation had reached a point where intervention became necessary, noting that the children were being placed in an “unsafe environment.”
For her part, Zolciak responded to these allegations.
“The judge’s decision is temporary until we return to court on May 21, when we will have the opportunity to have a full hearing,” the Bravo star told TMZ.
“While I want this process to be over for my children more than anything, I look forward to our court date on May 21, when we will finally have a chance to present the truth,” she continued.
This latest development is just the latest chapter in what has become an increasingly volatile split between the former couple, whose divorce proceedings included numerous legal claims, police visits, and public accusations.
This is not the first time custody has shifted in Berman’s favor. This isn’t the first time Zolciak has been accused of some pretty bad parenting mistakes.
For now, the court’s ruling places primary custody in Berman’s hands as the case continues to develop, with the two sides still very much at odds over what is best for their children.
