DoorDash is doubling down as an online gift-giving destination with a dedicated hub for Mother’s Day gifts

From flowers and fragrances to champagne and gift cards, DoorDash has branched out beyond food delivery and takeout, offering the speed and convenience of gift giving on special occasions. Ahead of Sunday, May 10, the platform unveiled its dedicated Mother’s Day hub, a one-stop-shop for every kind of mommy, including prestige beauty, cozy clothing, practical technology, self-care kits, and festive treats and beverages.

Instead of searching through dozens of different sites, DoorDash’s Shoppable Gift Guide is an amalgamation of both big-box and local retailers — from Ulta Beauty to neighborhood florists — with the best gift picks organized by category. This includes same-day flower delivery and late-night product availability through DashMart.

In addition to physical gifts, DoorDash offers shoppers the option to purchase hundreds of gift cards (both digital and physical) through their platform, with special discounts for DashPass members.

DashPass, DoorDash’s monthly subscription service, has a host of exclusive benefits and offers a free 30-day trial for new members. While all eligible customers get their first DoorDash delivery order free, DoorDash DashPass members enjoy even more benefits: $0 delivery fee on each order, lower service fees on qualifying orders, members-only promotions and deals, five percent back in DoorDash credits on pickup orders and between five and 10 percent off Lyft rides (up to four per month). After a 30-day free trial, the monthly DashPass plan costs $9.99 per month and the annual plan costs $96 per year (which works out to $8 per month).
