India holds a special place in his heart, especially since parts of it were filmed in Australian cities such as Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.The conversation took a hilarious turn when he was asked whether he was rooting for India or Australia during the film’s exciting hockey match. “No, no, no, even though I was rooting for India at Lagaan,” Burke said, laughing.He also praised the film Jodha Akbar starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, describing it as a “beautiful epic” and an “exceptional film.”

‘Om Shanti Om At the top of his list
But if there’s one film that stands above the rest for Burke, it’s Om Shanti Om.
The film is directed by Farah Khan and marks the debut of Deepika Padukone, and it is clear that the film has left a lasting impression on him.He called it his “favorite movie ever” and recalled one of its most famous lines: “Happy endings are simple… If they’re not happy, it’s not the end, the story’s not over yet.” Reflecting on it, Burke added that the dialogue is especially relevant today – proving once again that Bollywood magic truly knows no bounds.
