England chances

Playing at home gives England a huge advantage. The team’s mix of veteran winners and young energy could be crucial in high-pressure matches. Their spin attack led by Ecclestone and batting depth make them strong contenders. 18-year-old off-spinner Tilly Curtin-Coleman has been included, while Lauren Filer and Essie Wong will feature in their first T20 World Cup. England Women have won the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup once, clinching the title in the inaugural edition in 2009. Although they have been a dominant force in the format, they have also finished as runners-up on three occasions (2012, 2014, and 2018). Outside of the T20 format, England have seen more success in the ODI (50-over) World Cup, winning four titles in 1973, 1993, 2009 and 2017.
