Oprah podcast Joins Wondery.

Under the deal announced on Monday, Oprah podcast It will expand to two episodes per week starting this summer, with Wondery acquiring exclusive distribution and advertising rights to the show’s audio and video. The deal also includes rights to The Oprah Winfrey Show Oprah’s Bookstore and Book Club and Oprah’s Favorite Things, with the opportunity to further integrate the two via Amazon.

Starting in July, Wondery will be distributed Oprah podcast Via Amazon Prime Video, Amazon Music, Fire TV Channels, and Audible. The show will also remain available on YouTube and wherever podcasts are available.

Winfrey’s podcast joins a list of other shows, including New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Honey, this is Keke Palmer and Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard In Wonderland Reimagined. After the company was dismantled in August, some narrative podcasts moved to Audible, amid layoffs from the narrative team, while the team responsible for Wondery’s video-focused, creator-led podcast offerings formed a new organization called Creator Services. With the aim of expanding audiences across Amazon.

“Hosting this podcast allows me to continue the work I feel called to do, opening the door to important conversations,” Winfrey said. “These are the kind of conversations that remind us that we are not alone, and invite us to see ourselves and each other more clearly. Expanding our reach globally is an opportunity I embrace, as we continue to connect through stories that invite new ways of seeing and, hopefully, deepening understanding.”

“Oprah Winfrey has built one of the most iconic and timeless brands in the world, spanning television, publishing and beyond,” said Steve Boom, vice president of Audio, Twitch and Gaming at Amazon. “Through this collaboration with Harpo Entertainment, we are bringing her voice to more people and expanding how her audience engages with Oprah in ways that only Amazon can deliver.”

Added Matt Sandler, General Manager of Creator Services at Amazon: “Long before the term ‘creator’ existed, Oprah was building a direct, deeply personal connection with audiences across generations — and that connection continues to grow.
