If you can get by on the list, this is the place for you.

From the winding line down Robertson Avenue. Until the early hours of Saturday night, many did so — but not everyone could get in to get an up-close look at Madonna, who wandered behind the decks at 12:53 a.m., sending the packed crowd into a frenzy.

The pop icon, 67, previewed two new songs in a surprise (not so) appearance at Club Confessions — a one-night gig at the legendary Abbey nightclub in West Hollywood.

Doubled as a birthday party for Tristan Shawcraft, CEO of telehealth company MISTR and owner of the popular gay mecca, the event gave fans some early tastes of its next era.

Wearing a hot pink bra — reminiscent of the archival piece she wore to Coachella that was later stolen — she belted out two previously unheard tracks: “Love Sensation” and a track titled “Freedom,” which was played as a demo and quickly became the centerpiece of the night.

The set also featured her recently released “I Feel So Free” and 2005’s “Hung Up.” Stuart Price, engineer of 2005’s Confessions on a Dance Floor and 2005’s Confessions II — which will be released July 3 and marks Madonna’s return to her former home Warner Records — kept the beats coming.

Before him, Romy — who also recently appeared at Coachella with her band The xx — and DJ Mez Monty took turns taking turns on the decks. Romy remixed Ariana Grande’s “Into You” and her own duet with bandmate Jamie xx, “Higher Places,” while Monty thrilled the crowd with Madonna’s “Get Together” and “Thief of Hearts.”

From behind the booth, Madonna commanded the room like a drill sergeant. “Don’t wait. Take it. Don’t wait. Take it. Take your freedom! Raise your hands! Raise your hands!” she shouted before advising the audience to “put down your phones” and listen to the music. At another point, she led the room in a plea and repeated: “There’s nothing we can’t do!”

The guest list reflected Madonna’s enduring appeal, drawing daughter Lourdes Leon, boyfriend Akeem Morris, Cara Delevingne, Tom Daly, Tori Spelling, Lily Allen, Sky Ferreira, Addison Rae, Kaley Uchis, Lola Young and Vivienne Jenna Wilson.

RuPaul’s Drag Race Stars Willam, Trinity the Tuck, Morgan McMichaels, Gottmik and Symone were also in the mix, as was TikTok creator Harry Daniels, who was reportedly waiting at the door to serenade her when she arrived.

Madonna released her last studio album in 2019 with Madam X.
