NEET UG 2026 hall tickets will be available on April 27 before the May 3 exam
NEET Admit Card 2026: The National Testing Agency has postponed the release of NEET UG 2026 admit cards and announced that hall tickets will now be available to all candidates by 10 am on Monday, April 27, according to a notification issued through its official X account.The update comes a week before the medical entrance exam on May 3 and changes expectations around the release of the admit card that candidates were anticipating today. With the revised timetable now confirmed, candidates will be able to download their hall tickets through the official NEET portal once the link is activated.NTA announces the revised schedule for issuing admit cardNEET admit cards will be available to all registered aspirants by 10 am on April 27, the National Testing Agency said in its message to candidates.
No change in exam date or timings has been announced, with NEET UG schedule remaining from 2 PM to 5 PM in one shift.The agency did not indicate any change in examination centres, reporting arrangements or other instructions for candidates. The postponement relates only to the timing of access card availability.
Candidates are advised to use Sunday for revisionAlong with the announcement, NTA urged candidates to use the last Sunday before the exam to take a practice test or review concepts.
The message also advised aspirants to remain calm and stay hydrated as final preparations continue.This advice comes at a time when a large number of candidates are preparing for the national level Undergraduate Medical Entrance Examination, which will be conducted for admission to MBBS, MBBS and allied medical courses.Hall tickets to carry center and exam detailsOnce issued, the admit card will contain the candidate’s details including name, registration number, examination centre, reporting time, examination center code and address.
Candidates will be required to carry a printout of hall ticket along with a valid government ID proof and passport size photographs to the examination centre.The admit card will be available only online through the official websites including neet.nta.nic.in and nta.ac.in. Candidates will be able to access the document using their application number and password or date of birth.The examination schedule remains unchangedAlthough the issuance of the admit card has been postponed, the examination schedule has not changed. NEET UG 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on May 3 with 180 compulsory questions carrying a total of 720 marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology.Candidates were also reminded to continue following only official channels for updates, amid repeated warnings by the agency against misinformation and unverified online claims related to the exam.
