The internet was shocked after news emerged that d4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, had been banned from Twitch. This happened after he was accused of very serious crimes, including the murder of a teenage girl named Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
Many people online are talking about this issue, as the situation is both confusing and worrying.D4vd, age 21, was arrested on April 16, 2026 in Hollywood Hills. A few days later, on April 20, he was formally charged with first-degree murder and other crimes. Shortly after, a social media post confirmed that his Twitch account had been banned. While Twitch has not clearly explained the reason, many believe it is directly related to his arrest and the serious charges against him.
The Twitch ban comes after murder charges in the case of Celeste Rivas Hernandez
The case revolves around a 14-year-old girl named Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who has been missing since 2024. Police say she went to D4vd’s house in April 2025 and was never seen alive again. Months later, her remains were found in his Tesla, which authorities had previously seized. This discovery made the issue more serious and sad.
After a long period of investigation lasting nearly seven months, law enforcement authorities found evidence linking D4vd to this crime, and prosecutors claimed that he was charged with first-degree murder under unusual circumstances, which could have serious consequences, including life imprisonment, or worse, death penalty.
However, the accused claims that he is innocent and intends to defend himself through legal proceedings. It should be noted that before the accusations against him, the man was considered a rising music star and a Twitch streamer. In addition, some of the live broadcasts in which the girl participated attracted attention due to her young age.Currently, much of what happened remains unknown, as investigations into the case are still ongoing. Meanwhile, D4vd continues to remain in jail without access to bail while being banned from streaming on Twitch.
