Holo heaven She’s adding another Emmy winner to her cast.
Julianna Margulies will join the post-apocalyptic drama for season three. It will be the former er and Good wife The star’s first series work since starring in seasons two and three of The Morning Show on Apple TV.
As usual with heaven (and other offerings from creator Dan Fogelman), details about the role Margulies plays in a library deep in the mountain are being kept secret.
Hulu renewed heaven for Season 3 in March, in keeping with Fogelman’s plan for a three-season storyline. The show’s second season concluded with the death of one of its main characters and a big revelation that led to many questions (spoilers in both links) about where the show would go in season three.
In Season 2, Xavier (Sterling K. Brown) searches for his wife Teri (Enuka Okuma) in the world outside the bunker and discovers how people survived the three years since the world collapsed. Meanwhile, the social fabric of Paradise erodes as the bunker deals with the aftermath of Season 1 and new secrets are revealed about the town’s origins.
Along with Brown and Okuma, the second season of heaven Stars Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, Nicole Brydon-Blum, Kris Marshall, Enoka Okuma, Alia Mastin, Percy Daggs IV and Charlie Evans. James Marsden, Shailene Woodley, Thomas Doherty and John Beavers have recurring roles.
Paradise is produced by 20TV, where Fogelman is under an overall deal. Fogelman executive produces with Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, Brown, Steve Beers, Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.
