Oliver Jones is set to exit Apple TV after six years and join Amazon MGM Studios as senior commissioner of UK scripts.
Studio vice president and head of international originals, Nicole Clemens, told her team about Jones’ hiring in an email on Monday. He will work closely with Clemens on commissioning new scripted shows in the UK from May, and will move from Los Angeles to London for the role. Commissioners Gemma Brandler and Puneet Mattoo will report to Jones.
