Kamala Harris says Trump was ‘dragged’ into Iran war by Netanyahu

Former US Vice President Kamala Harris has criticized Donald Trump, alleging that he was “dragged” into the ongoing conflict with Iran by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and used the situation to divert attention from internal disputes.Speaking at an event hosted by the Michigan Democratic Women’s Caucus in Detroit on Saturday, Harris said war “is not what the American people want.” Harris repeated her claim about the origins of the conflict, saying that Trump “entered a war, and was dragged into it by Bibi Netanyahu,” referring to the Israeli leader.But Netanyahu has previously rejected such accusations, describing them as “fake news.”

According to news agency ANI, she also claimed that Trump’s “Operation Epic Rage” was a “weak attempt to divert attention from the ‘Epstein files’.”

“The most corrupt, cruel and incompetent administration”

Harris strongly criticized the current American leadership, describing it as the “most corrupt, cruel, and incompetent” administration in the country’s history.She said Trump projects strength through military action, saying he wants to “walk around as if he’s strong and will use the power of the US military against anyone he chooses.”

Shift-in claims American foreign policy Approaching

In his foreign policy expansion, Harris claimed that Trump had radically changed America’s global stance.

“This president is the first president of the United States from either party since World War II to abdicate America’s responsibility to nurture and protect our alliances and friendships,” she said.She also claimed that Trump had rejected key international norms. She said: “We do not even pretend, but in fact we ignore the importance of adhering to international rules and norms such as sovereignty and territorial integrity.”According to Harris, these actions made the United States “untrustworthy” with its allies and weakened its global influence.Beyond foreign policy, Harris also touched on domestic issues including health care, the economy and reproductive rights. She expressed her confidence in the prospects of the Democratic Party, stressing that she expects it to win the upcoming midterm elections next November.
