Paramount+ announced Thursday that the voices of literary friends Elephant and Piggie will be performed by the former Kimmy Schmidt Co-stars (and on-screen best friends) Tituss Burgess and Ellie Kemper. In addition, Neil Patrick Harris will play the bus driver Dove show! Pigeon Championship. It’s a very strong selection for preschool shows – but again, the Elephant & Piggie and Pageon books are very strong for preschool books.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about, well, maybe you don’t have young children — or maybe you’re more of a Dr. Seuss family. Both new Paramount+ series are based on the Mo Willems novel New York Times Best-selling children’s books; pigeon Dove He has his own books and pops in Elephant and pig Those as well.
Elephant and pig show! Paramount described it as a warm, pre-K comedy series about the funny and sometimes difficult work of “best friends.” Basically, Gerald the Elephant is cautious and Piggy is not; Gerald is worried so Piggie won’t have to. As you might imagine, no surprises ensue.
Dove show! Pigeon Championship It is about the daily struggles of a pigeon who just wants to be heard. He’ll be your best friend if you have a bus and let him drive it, but as the main book we’re referring to here warns, Don’t let the pigeons drive the bus! He probably doesn’t even have a Class B (or C) CDL license.
