Noida Protest Live Updates: Akhilesh Yadav blames BJP politics for Noida violence over wages protest

Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav on Monday blamed the “one-sided policies” of the BJP government for the violent protests by workers in Noida, alleging that the regime favors capitalists while ignoring employees and wage labourers.

Reacting to the violence through a post on X, Yadav said the wage hike agitation has turned aggressive due to policies that “patronise the capitalists but exploit the workers”.

He claimed that while money continues to flow toward “donor capitalists,” workers are being denied fair wages.

“In times of high inflation, it is very difficult for a family to survive on low wages. Only someone who runs a family can understand this,” he said, adding that salaried employees no longer wanted the BJP.

The former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister also shared a video of incidents of arson and vandalism during the protests.
