CinemaCon 2026: 'Ramayana' posters for Ranbir Kapoor's Rama and Yash's Ravana debut alongside 'The Odyssey', 'Dune 3' and 'Avengers: Doomsday'; The film has a special screening - PICS

After launching their first major asset, the glimpsed ‘Rama’, in Los Angeles and New York, producer Namit Malhotra and leading man Yash have reportedly headed to CinemaCon 2026 with their magnum opus ‘Ramayana: Part 1’. The event, which will take place in Las Vegas from April 13-16, features posters, including a large banner-shaped reveal, in the center of the venue, featuring a detailed close-up look and intricately designed high-resolution portrait artwork of Kapoor Rama and Yash Ravana.

A poster titled Enter the World of the Ramayana showed an article that read: “CinemaCon delegates are invited to experience one of the most ambitious theatrical shows currently in post-production and scheduled to hit theaters globally this year – the Ramayana, a sweeping mythological epic filmed for IMAX and conceived as a global event.

From a 5,000-year-old legend that continues to shape culture across continents, The Ramayana is designed as a cinematic spectacle for modern audiences – combining large format filmmaking, cutting-edge visual effects by 8-time Academy Award-winning VFX studio DNEG, and an unprecedented musical collaboration between Hans Zimmer and augmented reality.

Most Gracious. During CinemaCon, the Ramayana team will host special previews and open talks at the Milano III Ballroom, offering a first look at the film’s scale, vision and global release strategy. DNEG CEO, producer and creative visionary behind the Ramayana franchise, Namit Malhotra, lead film star and producer Yash, and members of the executive team at Prime Focus Studios will be available during the week to engage with partners interested in the film’s journey. Open House Hours Daily – April 12-16

The makers are said to be trying their best to put ‘Ramayana’ on the global stage.

CinemaCon remains the largest and most important annual gathering of the global film industry, bringing together Hollywood studios, cinema owners and vendors for four days, Variety India reports. This year’s event is expected to attract industry professionals, exhibition booths and more than 15 demonstration booths. Along with “Ramayana”, and Hollywood heavyweights such as Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”, Marvel’s “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” and “Avengers: Doomsday”, the sci-fi film Dune: Part Three will also be present at the event with directors and their stars taking to the big stage to promote their films.

Ramayana, directed by Nitish Tiwari, is scheduled to release on Diwali 2026.
