BRIC National Institute of Immunology (BRIC) opens PhD admissions for Monsoon session 2026-27
BRIC-NII PhD admission 2026: The National Institute of Immunology (NII) BRIC has invited applications for its PhD program for the monsoon cycle 2026-27, offering opportunities in multidisciplinary research areas including immunology, infectious and chronic disease biology, molecular and cellular biology, chemical biology, structural biology, and computational biology.
The Institute, which operates under the BRIC umbrella, continues to focus on advanced biological research covering multiple areas of the life sciences.Eligible candidates must have a 4-year Master’s or B.Sc/B.Tech degree. Or any other equivalent qualification in Science & Technology, MVSc., MBBS is recognized under Regional Center for Biotechnology regulations, and ensures minimum marks of 60% in cumulative average or equivalent, with 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to OBC category NCL, SC, ST, PwD, EWS, as per relevant rules, and must have valid 5-year research fellowship from UGC, CSIR, ICMR, DBT, or any other government body Recognized.Selection procedures and interview scheduleEligible candidates will be selected through an offline interview round at BRIC-NII Campus, New Delhi. Shortlisted candidates will be notified on 11 May 2026 on the official website and notice board of the institute. Interviews will be conducted offline from 8 to 12 June 2026. Accommodation facilities can be arranged for external candidates for one day at a small fee.

The last date for submission of applications is from 10 April 2026 to 30 April 2026. Fees are Rs. 600 for GEN/OBC candidates and Rs. 300 for OBC NCL/SC/ST/PwD and EWS categories respectively. One-time fees are non-refundable. The candidate’s name and date of birth must match the high school certificate.

Allotment of laboratories and allotment of thesis supervisor will be done by 10 July 2026. Selected candidates will be registered for the program details under affiliation with Regional Center for Biotechnology, Faridabad, Haryana. Candidates must activate the JRF Fellowship immediately. Campus Details Candidates have a shared hostel in the residential campus.
