Asha Bhosle died on Sunday morning at the age of 92 in Mumbai. The legendary singer has left the industry and music lovers heartbroken. Her last public appearance was at the wedding of Arjun Tendulkar, Sachin Tendulkar’s son, on March 5, 2026. She looked stunning in a white saree as she arrived to bless the couple, and was also seen standing on the piercing with her smile winning many hearts.
While leaving a deep void in the hearts of her fans with her demise, Sachin Tendulkar also expressed her grief in an emotional tribute to the veteran singer.
“A very sad day for India, and for music lovers all over the world. For us, Asha Tai was family. Today, words seem too small for the loss we feel. One moment the heart is silent, and the next, it drifts through the countless melodies she gifted to us all,” Tendulkar wrote.

She was in critical condition and under observation in the intensive care unit. On Sunday morning, her son Anand Bhosle confirmed her death.
