The actress revealed the reason for the breakup of the relationship, as shared by a fan. Sonam added that she reassured the fan, saying that she was happy with her decision.

Sonam Bajwa recently shared an amazing interaction with fans and revealed how she was once told that she was the reason behind breaking off her engagement.Speaking on Famously Fit with Sophie, Sonam said: “There was a girl who walked up to me and asked: ‘Are you Sonam Bajwa?’ I said yes, and she said: ‘I have to tell you something.’”

She said that because of me, she broke off her engagement.

“I don’t know if I should say I’m so sorry to hear that,” I said, but I was so dumbfounded! Then she said: “But I am very happy now that I am engaged to someone else.”

Sonam Bajwa started her career as a model before entering the field of films, and gained fame after participating in the Miss India 2012 pageant. She made her acting debut with the Punjabi film Best Of Luck and rose to fame with the 1984 film Punjab.

Over the years, she has become one of the most popular stars of Punjabi cinema with hits like Nikka Zaildar, Carry On Jatta 3 and Sardaar Ji. She has also appeared in Hindi projects like Street Dancer 3D and Karam Yuddh, besides Tamil and Telugu films. She was recently seen in Housefull 5 and Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat.
