Musical tribute from Palak Muchhal to Asha Bhosle
“Asha ji ki trif mein kuch bhi keen ke lei mein bahut choti hoon.
Unka jaana hum sab ke liye ek aisi kshati hai, jiska bharpaai kabhi nahi ho paayegi. Lekin apne peeche jo sangeet ki viraasat woh chhod kar gayi hain, use aane waali kai peedhiyan prerit, protsahit aur prabhavit hongi. “(I am too young to even sing the praises of Asha ji. Her passing is a huge loss to all of us, which can never be compensated for. But the musical legacy she left behind will continue to inspire, encourage and influence generations to come),” Palak Muchhal said.

The ease with which she sang in all genres is commendable. “Growing up, her songs were everywhere, from the playful energy of ‘Piya Tu Ab To Aaja’, ‘Sapne Me Milti Hai’ or ‘Le Gayi’ to the haunting beauty of ‘Mera Kuch Saamaan’,” Palash shared. “What has always stayed in my mind is her courage. She never allowed herself to be confined to one genre or one identity.
