New Delhi: India woke up to heartbreaking news on Sunday with the death of legendary singer Asha Bhosle at the age of 92. Condolences poured in from across the country, including from cricket icons such as Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, who remembered her not just as a music legend but as someone he cherished deeply.Tendulkar shared an emotional message, highlighting how close she is to his family. “A very sad day for India and for music lovers around the world. Her son Anand Bhosle confirmed the news. Fans and well-wishers can pay their last respects at her residence in Lower Parel, with the final rites scheduled later at Shivaji Park in Mumbai.
