A few days after Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson’s unplanned meeting on the plane, he talks about old memories. Oldest memories.

In the 1990s, his band toured for the first time.

At the time, the record company gave them a guide to the age of consent laws in each state.

Lachey admits that, in retrospect, that seems very suspicious. And he is right!

“This is going to look very suspicious.”

Lachey is part of the new documentary Identity, Secret boy band.

Produced by Joey Fatone of *NSYNC fame, this is a retrospective look at what life was really like for members of the most famous boy bands — and some that the world has largely forgotten.

These days, most of us think that Laci is Jessica Simpson’s ex. And it is!

But he, along with Jeff Timmons, Justin Jeffery, and Drew Lachey (his brother), formed the boy band, 98 Degrees.

When they went on tour for the first time in 1999, they had a helpful but “suspicious” guide. Just in case.

“This is going to sound very suspicious, but when we first went out, I remember our first tour, someone gave us a book,” Lachey admits.

He continued: “The age of consent was in every state in the country.”

(Shocking as well Different laws in different countries already exists in our world, Different laws in different states Somehow worse. And yes, age of consent laws vary widely.)

“We kept that book on the tour bus,” Lachey admitted.

“Unfortunately, there were people who wanted to tear you apart,” Al-Damanah explained.

There comes a point at which excessive familiarity with the law is suspicious

Even that line suggesting people wanted a 98 in the ’90s, Lachey’s confession made sense.

Yes, we know — the scary knowledge of the age of consent from state to state is usually a red flag.

(Knowing the ages of the people you’re sleeping with is good and smart. Knowing the minimum age someone can be in a legal relationship in 50 states and beyond is a predatory mindset, even if no laws are being broken.)

However, the band members’ ages were 21 years old and 24 years old in 1999.

More often than not, 21-year-olds don’t end up communicating in person with anyone under 18. But if they do, they should at least know whether they are committing a crime or not.

There should be laws regarding the age of consent, because 18 creates senseless injustice.

To be honest, two high school students shouldn’t break up just because one of them had a birthday.

In many high schools, it is common for students from different grades to share classes, socialize, and date. (This applies to other situations, such as workplaces, where minors and adults may share spaces.)

People who are only a few years apart from dating, when one is an adult and the other is a minor, are not inherently predatory. But the person who He is A predator may exploit these laws to pursue inexperienced teens.

Something can be completely legal and completely scary at the same time.

Obviously, Boy Band Confidential covers a lot more than that little tale

Secret boy band Premiering on Roku on Monday, April 13.

Obviously, the contents of the document will range from the hilarious to the very serious.

Many boy bands of that era were targets of massive financial exploitation. People who earned tens of millions were left with scraps.

Additionally, some will touch on heavy topics, such as sexual misconduct when they were child stars.

Many of today’s music stars are much better off, in terms of their contracts and money, than boy band members were. They carved out a slice of the industry, suffered for it, and paved the way for future singers.
