Despite an early scare and quick loss of wickets, Babar and Kusal Mendis stabilized the innings. Mendis played aggressively while Babar anchored the innings in a calm manner. Together they built a crucial 109-run partnership. Babar scored 43 runs before he was out, helping his team recover on a pitch that favored the bowlers. At the end of the innings, they scored 173/7 in 20 overs. The match also became special for Babar as he became the first player to reach 4,000 runs in the PSL, achieving the feat during his innings.

This puts him ahead of the other best players in the league and adds another record to his name.Speaking about the draw match, Babar said: “The preparations remain the same. The break we had earlier, we trained a lot under the sun.”He added: “I feel that the conditions are a little different, even though the pitch is the same as the one we played on two nights ago. I hope we play well.”Talking about the team’s bowling strength, he said: “Spinners always dominate here. Iftikhar’s experience with the ball helps us. We are fortunate to have a combination that helps us a lot in these conditions.”
