A sudden job loss turned into a quick comeback for an Indian-origin tech executive mother, after a single LinkedIn message helped her land a new role within days.Ashalesh Tilawat, who resides in Austin, Texas, recently shared his experience on X.
His post described how his mother, who had been laid off from her job just three days earlier, was able to quickly find a new opportunity because of his “connections.”

The story has gone viral, especially at a time when layoffs continue to affect workers across all industries, including companies like Amazon and Oracle, which have laid off thousands of employees, often without notice.
