The US envoy to India hosted Sergio Gore of Egypt at Mar-a-Lago. Gore expressed the United States’ intention to deepen relations with India in the coming years.

In a post on X, Gore said: “It was a pleasure to host Foreign Minister Vikram Misri tonight at Mar-a-Lago! From trade and defense to energy, India and the United States stand ready to work closely together in the months and years ahead.”

“Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri had a productive meeting with Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau at the State Department. They reviewed the full bilateral agenda for the coming year, including trade, technology, energy, defence, upcoming high-level Indo-US commitments and ongoing regional developments,” he said in a post on X.

Al-Masry is scheduled to go to Paris and Berlin for three days, starting Sunday, to hold talks on energy, trade and defense in the context of the conflict in West Asia.

The Middle East News Agency said on Saturday that the minister will participate in Paris in chairing the Indo-French Foreign Ministry consultations, along with Martin Prinz, Secretary-General of the French Foreign Ministry.

He added that the two sides will address a wide range of issues, including defence, civil nuclear energy, space, cyber and digital issues, artificial intelligence, and efforts to enhance people-to-people exchanges, along with recent global and regional developments.

The Middle East News Agency said in a statement that the talks will cover various areas of bilateral cooperation, including trade, investment, defence, security, technology, green energy, development cooperation, education and people-to-people relations, as well as global and regional issues of common interest.
