The premiere of Jon Bernthal’s Punisher: One Last Kill has been released. In the violent trailer, Bernthal is seen burning while seeing and hearing hallucinations of people talking to him.
The film was directed by Reynaldo Marcus Green and co-written by him and Bernthal. Along with the trailer, Marvel also released the first poster for “Punisher: One Last Kill.”
Frank Castle He will be looking for more than just revenge
According to Marvel, Frank Castle will be dealing with more than just revenge this time around. The official synopsis says Frank “searches for meaning beyond revenge, when an unexpected force brings him back into the fight.”The last time we saw Bernthal’s Punisher, he was emerging from a cage at the detention facility run by Mayor Wilson Fisk (Vincent D’Onofrio) in the first season of Daredevil: Born Again.
Led by Charlie Cox, the show is currently in the middle of its second season, without Bernthal, who sets off on his own adventures in this new TV event.Bernthal first took on the role of Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher, in the second season of Daredevil. It introduced the extremely violent vigilante who was both friend and enemy of Charlie Cox’s Daredevil. Bernthal will also return as Frank Castle in this year’s theatrical release of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” in which he performs a tango with web-slinger Tom Holland.“Punisher: One Last Kill” will premiere on Disney+ on May 12, one week after “Daredevil: Born Again” Season 2 concludes.
