the meat A24 Music announced Thursday that the Season 2 soundtrack will be released in conjunction with the show’s premiere next week.
The series’ Emmy Award-winning soundtrack, created by Lee Seung-jin, was written, produced and composed by Grammy and Oscar-winning composer Finneas. The lead single, “Vicious Thoughts”, was released ahead of the album’s April 16 release.
Phineas says he was telling everyone he was going to take a break from recording, but he immediately agreed when he brought in his agent meat Season 2 is on its way. “Sonny (Lee) and I started talking about this season. I started reading scripts and he started sending me songs,” Finneas says. Hollywood Reportr of the process of creating the result.
“I would go visit the set, read new scripts. I would sit and tinker and make things, and one night I just made this piece called ‘Evil Thoughts,'” he continues.
“There’s a violent musical vamp at the end, but it’s a beautiful melody [and] It’s played in a rather stylized way. “I remember thinking, ‘This is either going to get me fired, or we’re really going to agree to it,’” he joked. “We had this piece in making music for the whole season.”

Seoyeon Jang has compiled the list of series regulars for this season. Award-winning Korean actors Yoon Yuh-jung and Song Kang-ho will also star alongside William Fichtner, Michaela Hoover and Matthew Kim, better known by his K-pop stage name, BM.
“Through favors and coercion, both spouses vie for the approval of the elite club owner, President Park (Yeon), who is struggling to manage a scandal of her own involving her second husband, Dr. Kim (Sung).”

Jake Schreier, Yeon Wong, Mulligan, Isaac, Milton, Spaeny, Anna Munsch, Kitao Sakurai, and Ethan Kuperberg serve as executive producers for the second season. The eight-episode season will launch on Netflix on April 16. “Vicious Thoughts” is currently available via streaming.
