The countdown to the 2026 Cannes Film Festival has begun! Artistic Director Thierry Frémaux and President Iris Knobloch will guide viewers through the officially selected films, the popular Un Certain Regard sidebar and other parts of the festival’s 79th edition program during a press conference in Paris beginning at 11 a.m. local time / 10 a.m. London time / 5 a.m. New York time on Thursday morning.
