Four Texas teens have been arrested for kidnapping and torturing a former high school classmate over a dispute involving one of the suspects’ girlfriends.Jose Rojas Alvarado, Oscar Armando Santiago Martinez, Angel Lemos Perez and Carlos Roberto Oliva Vileda, 17, face charges of aggravated kidnapping with a deadly weapon, according to arrest affidavits from the Travis County Sheriff’s Office obtained by KEYE.The victim is a former student at Del Valle High School. He was reportedly lured into a car on February 19. He was taken to a nearby farm, where the fourth suspect waited in the garage. Investigators alleged that the suspects pointed a gun at the victim’s head while they bound his hands, feet and mouth with duct tape.The teens allegedly forced the victim to drink alcohol and beat him with aluminum bats, a walking stick and a belt.

During the attack, the suspects threatened to kill him and harm his family if he went to the police.After his release, the victim immediately reported the assault to the authorities. Police confirmed that his injuries matched his story, with severe bruising to his back, chest and legs. Some of the suspects admitted to planning the attack for several days, and one of them allegedly recorded the entire ordeal on the phone.Angel Lemus-Perez faces an additional charge of engaging in organized criminal activity.

If convicted, the teens could face sentences ranging from five to 99 years in prison.The violent incident left the students and the local community in a state of severe shock. “I thought it was crazy, especially at our school. It’s crazy how strong this person had to be to report it and survive, honestly,” Jecaidon Mitchell, a Del Valle student, told KEYE. He added: “Everyone is so terrified… Everyone was saying: ‘Oh my God, I can’t believe this is happening.'”The Del Valle Independent School District said the suspects were no longer enrolled and confirmed it was aware of the incident that occurred off campus.
