According to Deadline, Peter will be a regular on the sci-fi drama series. Production on the second season is expected to begin in May at London’s Pinewood Studios, home of the original 1979 film, Alien 3 and the prequel Prometheus, after the first season was filmed in Thailand.
The first season of Alien: Earth ended in a cliffhanger
The first season of the series ended on a cliffhanger of sorts, with the remaining characters from the series gathered in one room and hybrid Wendy (Sydney Chandler) saying “Now we rule.”
“This chapter has been closed, but the Yutani forces are landing. The balance of power has changed. These kids have no idea what’s coming,” Showrunner Hawley told The Hollywood Reporter, adding that the final line of “We Rule Now” is triumphant and exhilarating.
But cut it short after 10 minutes…what happens? So I like that it has that real-time urgency.

Starring Sidney Chandler as the robot Wendy, the cast also includes Alex Luther, Essie Davis, Samuel Blinken, Babu Sisay, Adarsh Gourav, and Timothy Olyphant.

Dinklage, who won four Emmy Awards for his portrayal of Tyrion Lannister on HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones, most recently appeared in Roofman opposite Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst, as well as in Wicked alongside Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. He also starred in the movie “Dexter: Resurrection.”
