Morgan Gay, the breakout comedian known for his auto-adjusting microphone and teamwork during shows, is set to host the 26th Golden Trailer Awards.
The awards ceremony, held May 28 at the Saban Theater in Beverly Hills, will honor the best prequels for Hollywood films and TV/streaming series., Including trailers, commercials and posters. Jay, exiting his own comedy show in the second year, Living in the villagestreaming on Hulu, as the actor has credits on MTV Wild’n’Outnbc Saint Denis Medical And in the upcoming Joy Power feature The language of loveappears alongside Chloë Grace Moretz and Anthony Ramos.
The Golden Trailers Awards will see Jay working in a room full of studio marketing executives, film fans, celebrities and trailer editors. “Part of what makes this show special is its energy — it’s fast, creative and really fun. Morgan brings that same spirit with a unique blend of music, comedy and connecting with the audience. He doesn’t just perform for the audience — he draws them into the experience, making him the perfect host for our night,” Evelyn Brady, CEO and co-founder of the Golden Trailer Awards, said in a statement.
The award ceremony will also witness awards being distributed across 114 categories. In 2025, Buddha Jones won the highest honor for its work bringing the undead to life for Sony Pictures. After 28 years A trailer titled “Days” won the Best Show award.
In addition to the gadgets that will be distributed, organizers of the Golden Trailer Awards are promising a “raucous” evening of industry creatives set to fill the Saban Theater. Monica Brady, the show’s executive producer and co-creator, added in her own statement: “Morgan’s quick wit and gentle public work have just the right vibe. Combined with his amazing social reach, we’re thrilled he’ll be our host.”
