PEOPLE recently reported that popular singer Ray Stevens collapsed on Sunday, March 29, and suffered a neck injury. A press statement was issued by his legal representatives, who indicated that the musician fell and suffered a broken neck. He was taken to hospital shortly after the accident and has now officially returned home after receiving proper care.According to the report, the 87-year-old star is still under medical supervision and has a long way to go towards full recovery.

They noted that he had been wearing a neck brace for 4 weeks, and despite the seriousness of the condition, he was in good spirits. “Despite the injury, he remains fully mobile and in good spirits as he continues his recovery.”
