Sabrina Carpenter takes you on a “home tour” with her newly released music video Man’s best friend Single, she had some help from Margaret Qualley and Madeline Klein.
Qualley co-directed the video alongside Carpenter as well, which begins with Carpenter arriving at a mansion in a pink van with “Pretty Girl Clean-Up Crew” written on it. She steps out in blood-stained white high heels, and the same shoes are a link to the end of the music video for “Tears.” From there, Carpenter, Qualley, and Klein participate in the camp, where they break and enter and frolic around the mansion stealing jewelry, clothes, and cash. In typical Carpenter fashion at this point, the video ends with a murder as they run over someone while escaping.
The video was equal parts bold and sexy, and accompanied the song itself, which was one of the least subtle clips ever. Man’s best friend As Carpenter sings, “None of this is a metaphor, I just want you in.”
Carpenter dropped a teaser for the video on April 1, confirming that Qualley and Cline would co-star with her in the video. “Home Tour” is the fourth single from man’s best friend, After the lead single “Manchild”, “Tears” and “When Did You Get Hot?”
Man’s best friend It received Grammy nominations for Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, while “Manchild” was nominated for Record and Song of the Year.
Carpenter dropped the video for “House Tour” just days before she’ll headline Coachella later this week, with her set debuting Friday night. This will be Carpenter’s second time playing the festival after making her debut in 2024, just as her star rise began.
