Mixed reactions from the audience to “The Leader”
The film receives divided reactions from viewers. One social media review says, “There are a lot of twisty spy movies with very few thrills but mostly cliches. A spy thriller with a lot of cliche action scenes, intertwining stories and so many twists that every scene turns into a twist which is sometimes a pleasant surprise like the climax of the ending but sometimes it flops too much like a villain story.. Good things first.”
. The cast was well cast, especially the top notch villain role of Santhosh Pratap who was seen in many movies as just a foreign Mappillai but had a meaty role… And by the way, all the villains played their part very well which was one of the few interesting parts… The script, considering the director has experience in movies like Kodi etc.. is very disappointing in trying to fix too many sub-stories in the gameplay time like bring a hostage to another country story which in itself is full movie content but was shown in 20 minutes as a sub-story and many places are very rushed…”Another viewer wrote: “Well written screenplay. The film’s screenplay and screenplay are well written and form the film’s strongest pillars. The story is engaging, with a clear narrative flow that keeps the audience interested from beginning to end. The screenplay, in particular, deserves appreciation for how it balances emotional moments, drama and pacing without making the film feel slow or drawn out. Every scene feels thoughtfully placed, contributing meaningfully to the overall progression of the story.”
““Leader” is currently going through a testing phase at the box office and the 13% growth on Sunday is a small positive sign. The film needs stronger traction this week to build momentum.Disclaimer: Box office numbers and data in this article are compiled from public and industry sources.
