Tori and Dean first met in July 2005 while filming the Lifetime movie in Canada, Dean’s native country. Although they were married to different people when they met, they tied the knot in May 2006 and wasted no time in starting a family soon after. Liam Aaron McDermott
Liam Aaron McDermott was born on March 13, 2007, almost a year after his parents said, “I do.” Tori has been candid about her 14-year-old son’s bout with bullying at school, and opened up about the traumatic experience in a long Instagram post on February 23, 2020. Despite the emotional turmoil Tori said Liam went through at school, the actress defended her son like any mother and highlighted his bright traits. “Liam, my first born, is a fun, funny guy. She started singing his praises. She gave me two thumbs up in this photo when she was two years old.” “He’s a fun, smart, outgoing and creative guy!”
Stella Doreen McDermott
Stella Doreen McDermott was born on June 9, 2008, and is Tori’s second eldest child and first daughter. The lively teen is growing up quickly, but not so much that she can’t make time for her mother. Whether it’s sitting down to tea in historic hotels to celebrate Canada Day, or just having a girls’ day out with her mom and younger sister, Stella is turning into quite the young lady.
“I’ve had tea here with my mom for 20 years, and now I get to share this amazing experience today with my oldest daughter @stylishslimebystella. Incredible…,” Tori gushed in a July 2019 Instagram post.
Hattie Margaret McDermott
Stella William’s younger sister is Hattie Margaret McDermott, born on October 10, 2011. Although Hattie is technically the middle child, she is regularly prominent in the Spelling-McDermott clan. Tori shared a slew of photos of the unbreakable sisterly bond between Hattie and Stella — a bond that Tori hopes will never change. “These two! Fate made them sisters but love made them friends… It’s National Sisters Day and I couldn’t be prouder of my girls Stella and Hattie. I (sic) their bond. It’s so special and so much fun to watch them grow closer and closer as they grow and experience life,” Tori captioned an August 2018 Instagram post, followed by the hashtag “soul sisters.”
Finn Davey McDermott
Tori faced her biggest health scare with the birth of her fourth child, Finn Davey McDermott, on August 30, 2012. Finn was born within a year of Tori giving birth to Hattie. Complications from her pregnancy nearly put Tori and Finn’s lives in danger. But together, the two fought to survive in this world and have remained connected ever since. Now, Finn proves every day that nothing can stop him as he grows up to become Tori’s warm, loving and “charming” son. “Everyone knows our journey together. He is my miracle baby. We fought together to survive and he is my warrior,” Finn’s proud mother said on her birthday in 2021.
Bo Dean McDermott
Last but not least is Tori’s little boy, Beau Dean McDermott, who was born on March 2, 2017. Tori’s youngest child is four years old today but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have a mind of his own.
Previously, Tori posted about the issues of parenting potty-training toddlers in a satirical video. Since Beau is so young, he and Tori are always hanging out together to enjoy mother-son bonding time. “He is a beautiful, special soul. So proud to call you Boo Boo Bear’s mom. You are an absolute ray of sunshine in everyone’s life. So intuitive, empathetic, kind, funny, smart, stoic, energetic, happy, and loving! Being a mom is not a rite of passage, it’s a privilege,” Tori said in a post on Boo’s third birthday in 2020.
