Aditya Dhar’s ‘Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge’ has etched its name in Indian box office history, emerging as the first ever Bollywood film to cross a net collection of Rs 1,000 crore across all releases.
With this feat, he now stands alongside ‘Pushpa 2’ and ‘Baahubali 2’. So, Ranveer Singh starrer film becomes the third Hindi film and the first Bollywood film to enter the Rs 1000 crore club with its net collection at the domestic box office. The film, which also stars Sanjay Dutt, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi and Sara Arjun, has enjoyed exceptional performance at the box office since day one, maintaining notable momentum even without the benefit of major holiday slots. The film was released on March 19, which was on the occasion of Jodi Padwa and after that, there was an Eid followed by a weekend.
Thus, in the first few days itself, the film made the most of the holiday period. Not to mention, there was strong word of mouth after the success of the first part which was released in December 2025. While there was positive word of mouth about ‘Dhurandhar 2’, there was also criticism from many.

By the 18th day, Sunday evening, the film has crossed the Rs 1,000-crore net mark in India, according to Sakneelik.
Of this amount, Rs 900 crore was generated from the Hindi version of the film alone, setting a new record as the first Hindi language film to achieve such a feat.‘Dhurandhar 2’ completed its second week with Rs 263.65 crore in India and entered its third weekend strong. It saw some growth on the third Friday of the 16th and made Rs 21.55 crore. On Saturday, Day 17, the film has collected Rs 25.65 crore and now on Sunday, Day 18, the film has collected Rs 26 crore till 9 pm.
With this, the film’s net collection in India now stands at Rs 1,011.02 crore. Overseas too, Dhurandhar 2 has emerged as a juggernaut at the box office. The film collected over US$22 million in its opening weekend in international markets and went on to surpass the US$30 million mark in its second week.On Saturday, Dhurandhar 2 saw a sharp rise overseas, registering a 100% jump with collections exceeding US$1 million, compared to just over US$500,000 on Friday. Thanks to this increase, the total international GDP now stands at more than 41.5 million US dollars. The film also set new standards in several global territories, including North America, where it surpassed the 9-year-old record it held.
