Madhya Pradesh Police has started the online application process for Constable (Band) recruitment 2026. Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification
- For General, SC and OBC candidates: They must have passed Class 10 or Higher Secondary (10+2) from a recognized board.
- For ST candidates: minimum pass grade of 8
Maximum age (as on 19 April 2026)
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 33 years for general category, 38 years for reserved category (as per rules)
Physical standardsCandidates must meet the required physical measurements:
- Height: 168cm (OBC/EWS), 165cm (SC/ST)
- Chest (Male Only): 81-86cm (General/OBC/EWS), 79-84cm (SC/ST)
No relaxation in physical parameters will be given.
Selection process
Recruitment will take place in three stages:
- Skills test (qualifying)
- Band playing test (75 marks)
- Interview (25 marks)
Candidates must know how to play at least one musical instrument from the specified list.

Selected candidates will receive a salary ranging between INR 19,500 to INR 62,000.
