While his divine appearance has won widespread admiration, the film’s visuals have also sparked controversy, with some viewers questioning the visual effects and even speculation about the use of artificial intelligence.One particular moment in the teaser caught immediate attention online. In the scene, Rama is walking in Ayodhya while people shower him with flowers. However, eagle-eyed viewers noticed that as the camera angle changed, the actor’s turban in the background seemed to change color from blue to purple. The clip quickly went viral, with many pointing to it as possible evidence of the images being generated by artificial intelligence.

Speaking about the speculation, actor Saket Patel, who appeared in the scene, took to social media to clarify the situation.
“I am Saket Patel. I am an actor, and believe me, I am not an artificial intelligence,” he said in a video message, explaining that the scene was shot with real actors on real sets. He added, “People are completely convinced that I am an AI. I shot this two years ago with a real crowd, a real set, the real me and the real Ranbir Kapoor in front of me.”

He urged audiences to be more accepting of diverse visual styles, noting that what some might call “bad visuals” could simply be an unfamiliar aesthetic.He also encouraged viewers to focus on the intent behind the storytelling rather than evaluating visuals solely based on how realistic they appear.With a huge budget of Rs 4,000 crore, Ramayana is among the most ambitious Hindi films ever made. The cast also includes Yash as Ravana, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey as Lakshman.Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the first part of the film is scheduled to be released in October 2026, with the second part expected to follow in 2027.
