Trump’s post on Truth Social

This comes as Trump on Saturday gave Iran another 48-hour deadline to open the Strait. “Remember when Iran was given ten days to make a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz.

Time is running out – 48 hours before all hell rains down on them. Glory be to God! President Donald J. Trump said. But Iran rejected Trump’s threats and the central military command in Tehran issued a sharp rebuke. Brigadier General Ali Abdullah Aliabadi from the central headquarters of Khatam al-Anbia described the US President’s statements as “helpless, nervous, unbalanced, and stupid behavior.”Echoing the tone of Trump’s warning, he added, “The simple meaning of this message is that the gates of hell will open for you,” according to Agence France-Presse.

Meanwhile, in another post, shared a few minutes before the aforementioned threat, Trump talked about rescuing a pilot whose plane went down in Iranian territory. “We rescued a seriously wounded, truly brave, F-15 crew member/officer from deep in the mountains of Iran. The Iranian military was actively searching, in large numbers, and closing in. He is a highly respected colonel. This type of raid is rarely attempted due to the risk to ‘personnel and equipment.’

“This is not happening!” He said.Providing more details about the operation and announcing a press conference on Monday, he added, “The second raid came after the first, where we rescued the pilot in broad daylight, which was also unusual, and we spent seven hours over Iran. An amazing display of courage and talent from everyone! I will be holding a press conference, with the military, in the Oval Office, on Monday, one o’clock in the afternoon. God bless our great military warriors!”This comes in relation to the US F-15 fighter jet that was shot down by Iranian air defenses earlier this week, prompting a rescue operation to recover its two-member crew. One pilot has already been recovered, while the second was later rescued.
