Ranbir Kapoor talks about Raha’s Ramayana stories
Speaking to AP, Ranbir said, “I was very happy to get this opportunity that coincided with being a father. On the one hand, I will be working and playing the role of Lord Rama, but I will also be coming home and telling my daughter, Raha, stories about the Ramayana. Only to see a 3-year-old very engaged and asking me, ‘Did you shoot with Lord Hanuman today?’ Or Sita today? What did you do today?”.He added: “She is very interested in this story, which tells us that this is in our DNA.
Culture has seeped into our subconscious to the point that it comes very naturally – love and care come to us very naturally. We really want this to appeal to a larger audience and a global audience, and to really share something that we’ve believed in for centuries and will continue to believe in for centuries.
