Christina Marie Plante disappeared when she was only 13 years old.
Some might say that being found alive even weeks later is a “miracle.”
At the very least, that would be a statistical outlier.
Finding a missing child alive after more than three decades is a unique event. This is cause for celebration.

Missing for 3 hours is scary. A 30-year absence usually only means one thing
On May 15, 1994, Plant was only 13 years old.
She left her home in Payson, Arizona, to walk to a nearby stable. (The Star Valley community is there now, but was established over a decade after her disappearance.)
Her horse was in that stable.
However, somewhere along the way it disappeared.
For more than 30 years, she has been missing.
At the time, the authorities classified her disappearance as “endangered and under suspicious circumstances.”
She barely disappeared into her teens.
Law enforcement and volunteers searched for any sign of her.
In some cases, missing persons are simply injured and unable to move. In 1994, no teenager had a cell phone.
However, eventually, her case went cold. There were no leads. She became part of national databases of missing children, and many assumed she was dead.

She was found alive
On Wednesday, April 1, the Gila County Sheriff’s Office made a startling announcement.
They noted that a “successful” solution to Blunt’s case had been reached after 32 years.
At this point, most people expect a deviant killer to be caught and the remains of a young teenager buried for decades in a dark place.
Instead, she was found alive.
Police vaguely shared that advances in technology and investigative methods led to their discovery.
“Investigators have confirmed her identity, and her missing person status has been officially resolved,” the Gila County Sheriff’s Office announced.
They credited cold case initiatives with “providing families and communities with long-awaited answers.”
However, the details of Blunt’s life since her disappearance stop there.
“Out of respect for Christina’s privacy and well-being, no additional details will be released at this time,” the Sheriff’s Office said.
It is understood that she is now an adult woman aged 44 or 45 years. She doesn’t want the media circus.

Why are they only finding her now?
Reading between the lines, do it He appears The unspoken truth may be that Blunt made her disappearance.
We can only imagine what factors might have led to her wanting to leave her home as a child, and what difficulties she might have faced afterwards.
Many people realize that most runaways – but not all – have very good reasons for leaving home. There are also times when they are manipulated into leaving home and afraid to return due to shame.
We don’t have to know what Blunt went through before or after her disappearance. This is her job.
However, we are sorry for any difficulties you have experienced. We are of course glad she is alive.
