“I love him with all three of my heart and soul.”

In a conversation with RJ Sowjanya on The Voice of Bengaluru, Reena spoke about a life-changing moment when Salman reached out to her before her first heart transplant.“I’m going to get emotional about Salman sir. First of all, let me say that I love him with all three of my hearts and soul. When I wasn’t feeling well and before my first heart transplant, I had his number. A lot of people have to message him, but he replied,” she said.Elaborating further in the interaction, she added: “I told him I was going to have a heart transplant.

He was shooting in Australia at the time. He called me the night of the transplant and spoke to us for about two hours. He was very kind to my family and encouraged me to have this experience.”

Reconnecting after years

Reena revealed that they lost touch for about two years after that conversation, but when she reached out again about her foundation, Salman immediately remembered her.She is later invited to his residence, Galaxy Apartments, after her second organ transplant.

“He had kindness written all over him. We spent all night partying at his house, singing and dancing. Four months after my second transplant, I had diabetes and all sorts of medical issues, but I was having a good time,” she said.

Rina also recalled visiting the sets of Race 3 and described it as a special day to spend with the actor.“He took us to Race 3 groups, and we spent the whole day there. He gave me a white ‘Being Human’ bike because he remembered I had texted him about it a long time ago,” she said.

On the work front, Salman is gearing up for Maatrubhumi, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. He also announced an action drama with Vamshi Paidipally.
