It’s been more than two weeks since Joseph Duggar was arrested amid allegations he molested a 9-year-old girl.
Joseph was released from prison earlier this week after his father posted $600,000 bail.
Now, newly released recordings of phone calls Joe had with his wife, Kendra Duggar, reveal surprising details about their relationship.
Now, it’s important to note that Kendra was also He was arrested last month on a much lesser charge of child endangerment.
These days, both Joe and Kendra are out on bail awaiting trial, but there was a time when Kendra was released, and Joe was still in custody.

“I look forward to your calls,” Kendra said in the most recent recording made public.
“Yes, I’m looking forward to it too,” Joseph replied, adding, “Maybe we’ll get there on time.”
“Do you love me?” Kendra asked in a voice that reminded us that even though she’s a mother of four, she’s still only 27 years old.
“I love you so much,” Joe said as they laughed nervously.
Not the most romantic conversation we’ve ever heard, but what would you expect from people who were forced to marry the first person they held hands with?
Joe and Kendra aren’t allowed to see their four children at the moment, and Duggar insiders have indicated that the breakup has taken a heavy toll.
But this may be the least of the family’s legal issues.
Kendra faces nine years in prison, and Joe faces 34 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
Yes, Joe may actually end up serving a longer sentence than Josh Duggar.
After being extradited to Florida, Joe returned to his home state of Arkansas. He is scheduled to return to Panama City Beach on April 20.
In a statement to TMZ, Joe’s attorney, Al Solion, said his client is “stressed, anxious and worried.”
We think this makes sense. After all, if he is convicted, he may not get out until 2060.
From what we hear, prison is not very kind to people convicted of child molestation.
In case you missed it, Joe was arrested after a 14-year-old girl gave a “forensic interview” to police, alleging that Joe touched her inappropriately during a 2020 vacation.
Joseph has not publicly responded to the allegations, nor has Kendra spoken out about the situation.
