Released in March, it brilliantly highlights Moon’s deep emotional connections with Eid and Karwa Chauth. On Eid, the moon indicates joy and unity; For Karwa Chauth, it evokes love, longing and devotion, blending these traditions through feelings of hope and shared passion. Himesh Reshammiya’s composition has already been celebrated as a timeless Bollywood tune of romance and longing.

The release date of ‘Maatrubhumi’ is shifting forward

The film was originally titled “Battle of Galwan”, and was scheduled to be released on April 17. However, due to the pending shooting, the makers have postponed it without revealing a new date. Now, reports suggest that the Salman Khan starrer may hit the theaters on May 15.

According to Bollywood Hungama source, the additional shooting has been completed and the film will be ready soon. Hence, the makers feel that it is better to release the film sooner rather than later.

They are looking at several options and are seriously considering May 15. At one point, they wanted to release the film on Independence Day, but that wouldn’t be possible as Aamir Khan had bagged a spot in the film Lahore 1947 starring Sunny Deol.

The current plan is to ascertain whether Matrophumi’s release on May 15 is possible. If not, they will release him later. Meanwhile, the official announcement is still awaited.
